Join us at the NSWOCC 44th National Conference Networking Event. This event promises a perfect blend of networking, entertainment, and shared moments that you won't want to miss.

Agenda
6:30pm-7:00pm: Doors Open
The evening kicks off with a lively open networking period. We hope you'll be dressed to impress in your best disco-themed themed attire! Our Conference Planning Committee Members and Board of Directors will be there to greet you.
The casual event will provide the perfect setting for networking, casual conversations, or team collaboration in preparation for the exciting competition ahead.
Food stations will be available as of 6:30pm.
7:00pm-8:30pm: Disco Nights! themed Lip Sync Performances
It's time to get funky! Pre-formed teams, captained by industry members, will take the stage in a Disco-themed lip-sync competition. Teams, composed of Industry, NSWOCs, SWANs, and other healthcare professionals, will showcase their creativity and originality, incorporating crowd engagement elements into their performances. With judges offering insights and scores, the audience will also have their say with a People’s Choice Award.
8:30pm-10:00pm: Open Networking Period
Cap off the night by celebrating the performances together, chatting about what you've like most about the conference so far, and have a bite to eat from our snack station!
How it works
Each team is captained by an Industry Member and joined by participants attending the conference.

Teams are led by Industry Members and include NSWOCs, SWANs, and other Healthcare Professionals.

To create a team, use the submission form below.

Participants can join a team using the sign up form below.

Industry teams must submit a country and western song before the National Conference.

Maximum of 10 teams with a max of 20 members each.

When a participant joins a team, NSWOCC shares their contact info with the Industry Member captain. That captain will contact the new participant to welcome them to the team.

Team members, along with the captain, coordinate their performance.
Rules & Judging Criteria:

Each team must lip-sync to a disco song
-
Performance must be a maximum of 5 minutes (or the length of one song, if the song is slightly longer than 5 minutes).

Each team must incorporate at least one element that engages the crowd

Judging Criteria:

Creativity of the costumes and props
-
Lip syncing accuracy
-
Originality of the choreography
-
Participation from all team members

Overall quality of the performance
-
There will be a first, second, third place finish and People Choice Award.
Key Info

A practice room will be available at the National Conference with a sign up sheet available in advance for your team to block out an hour to practice together before Friday night.

Teams will perform on a 24' wide by 12' deep short riser, with the wall at the back of the riser.

There’s a practice space in the the room that for the team that’s “next up” to get organized.

An order will be randomly assigned closer to the date for the order in which teams will perform.
